We will take breaks and stop for lunch as we travel today.

Thursday, September 23
Breakfast is included in the Hampton Inn.
7:45 am Depart from Lexington
Our first stop is Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello.
We will start at the Visitor Center where we will see a film to introduce us to Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello. We will take the shuttle to the house and tour the Garden and Grounds and then meet our guide for the house tour.
1:00 pm Lunch is in historic Michie Tavern.
Hungry travelers have dined here since 1784. You will have time to look at The General Store, housed within the Meadow Run Grist Mill.
This afternoon we arrive in Williamsburg, Virginia.
Here in the country’s largest outdoor living history museum, you can travel back more than 200 years with just a few steps through the Historic Area.
This is the restored capital of Colonial Virginia, where 88 original buildings tell the story of a colony seeking independence and developing a new country.
Our home for the next three nights is Woodlands Hotel.
As guests of a Colonial Williamsburg hotel, you will receive a pass that will allow access to all daytime programs, museums and exhibition sites. Woodlands Hotel is a short walk from the Historic Area and the Colonial Williamsburg bus system has a stop at the hotel’s door.

Friday, September 24

9:00 am The day starts with a guided tour, including some of the Historic Area’s most significant sites.
1:00 am Colonial Williamsburg Tavern Lunch
This afternoon is yours to enjoy.
You can stay in Williamsburg and see the sites you have not yet visited or you can take our motorcoach on an optional visit to Historic Jamestowne, part of Colonial National Historical Park Virginia
6:00 pm Dinner at Captain George’s Seafood Restaurant
Enjoy the 70-item Original World Famous Seafood Buffet!
Overnight The Woodlands Hotel
Saturday, September 25
Continental Breakfast at Woodlands Hotel
9:00 am Depart from Williamsburg
James Madison’s Montpelier
2:00 pm Depart from Montpelier
Dinner is included tonight.
Overnight: Hampton Inn – Beckley
Sunday, September 26
Continental Breakfast is included at the Hampton Inn.
8:00 am EDT Depart from Beckley, West Virginia
Sharing stories and memories, we’ll pass through West Virginia, Kentucky and Indiana as we head home.
We will stop for breaks and lunch along the way.
Lunch is included at Cracker Barrel along the way today.
3:00 pm CDT Return to Evansville (Time is approximate.)
