Depart from Lakeside Commons (N Green River Rd by ONB)

Feel free to bring your favorite morning snack and beverage.
Thank you for not bringing any milk or milk products on the motorcoach.

Along the way south today we will provide some snack food since lunch will be late.  Please feel free to bring your own munchies, too.

In Cartersville, Georgia we will visit two beautiful and interesting museums.

Savoy Automobile Museum.
The Savoy opened in late 2021 and displays a unique collection of automobiles.
Interesting note about the name of the museum: As the 35-acre site was being cleared for construction, the rusty remains of a 1954 Plymouth Savoy were discovered. Taking this as an omen, the Savoy Automobile Museum was born. The namesake automobile has been preserved and will be part of the Savoy landscape.

Lunch (on your own) is available in the Savoy Automobile Museum.

Booth Western Art Museum
In association with the Smithsonian Institution, the Booth Museum in Cartersville was named 2020 and 2021 USA Today’s 10 Best Peoples’ Choice Award for Best Art Museum in the country.
