Sunday, October 8
Settle in and meet your fellow travelers as we begin our journey to the wonders of the West.
Along the way we will take breaks, stop for lunch and tour Fantastic Caverns. https://fantasticcaverns.com/
Dinner is included this evening and our lodging tonight is in a Hampton Inn in Tulsa, Oklahoma. (D)
Monday, October 9
Breakfast in the hotel starts the day. In Santa Rosa, New Mexico, we’ll visit the Route 66 Auto Museum https://www.route66automuseum.net/. After dinner we’ll spend the night in Santa Rosa, New Mexico at the Holiday Inn Express. (B, D)
Tuesday, October 10
After breakfast we’ll travel to Albuquerque where our first stop is an Arial Tramway Ride to and from Sandia Peak. https://sandiapeak.com/. We’ll get a good look at Albuquerque during a guided riding and walking tour through the city and in Old Town Albuquerque. After dinner, we’ll spend the first of two nights at the Fairfield Inn, Albuquerque. (B, D)
Wednesday, October 11
Our time at the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta begins at the Gondola Club at the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. (Our reservations at the Gondola Club cannot be finalized until April 2023. Details will be available after reservations are confirmed.) https://balloonfiesta.com/
This morning we will view the Hot Air Balloon Launch!
Later today we’ll visit New Mexico’s capital, Santa Fe. During our riding tour here, we’ll see the Palace of Governors, San Miguel Mission, St. Francis Cathedral, the State Capitol, Sena Plaza and more. (B, D)
Thursday, October 12
Another busy day starts with breakfast and a visit to the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center. https://indianpueblo.org/.
Arriving in Williams, Arizona, we’ll check-in at our home for the next two nights, the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel. https://www.thetrain.com/lodging/the-grand-canyon-railway-hotel/. Dinner is in Fred Harvey Restaurant in the hotel. (B, D)
Friday, October 13
Breakfast in Fred Harvey Restaurant starts us off to a busy day of touring.
Grand Canyon Railway takes us to the South Rim of Grand Canyon.

We’ll explore the beautiful South Rim area during a narrated Riding Tour and have lunch at Maswick Lodge in Grand Canyon National Park. Our day of exploring ends with dinner at Fred Harvey Restaurant at our home for the night, Grand Canyon Railway Hotel. (B,L,D)
Saturday, October 14
A day of travel starts with breakfast in Fred Harvey Restaurant and we bid farewell to the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel. We’ll drive through Bearizona Wildlife Parkhttps://bearizona.com/ before leaving Williams, Arizona. We’ll stop for lunch as we travel.
Dinner is included this evening and we’ll spend the night at the Holiday Inn Express in Santa Rosa, New Mexico. (B, D)
Sunday, October 15
After breakfast we continue our journey home, stopping In Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to visit the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum. https://memorialmuseum.com/museum/about-us/ After dinner we’ll spend the night at the Hampton Inn in Tulsa, Oklahoma. (B, D)
Monday, October 16
Breakfast in the hotel starts us off on our final day of travel.

Lunch is included and this evening we find ourselves in our own beds! (B, L)
