Join Lifestyle Tours on a trip to Casey to see the "Big Things in a Small Town" on Friday, March 23.

The story of the Big Things in a Small Town starts with Jim Bolen's memory of wind chimes at his grandmother's house. Fast-forward to Jim's career in heavy equipment and pipeline maintenance and his concern for his town's future as businesses and shops in his small hometown were closing. He wondered if the sight of the world's largest wind chime might bring visitors to Casey, Illinois (pronounced Kay-zee). The wind chime was followed up by other 'world's largest' things like a golf tee, a rocking chair, a mailbox and others. And, yes, these 'big things' do bring people to his town. Shops and stores are opening up and downtown has received a facelift.
