Guna Yala, formerly known as San Blas, is an indigenous province in northeast Panama with a lengthy Caribbean coastline. Guna Yala is home to the indigenous group known as the Gunas. Its capital is El Porvenir. The province is known for its hundreds of isolated islands ringed with white sand and reefs and dotted with simple, all-inclusive hotels.
Guna Yala in Kuna means "Land Guna" or "Guna Mountain". The area was formerly known as San Blas, and later as Kuna Yala, but the name was changed in October 2011 to "Guna Yala" when the Government of Panama recognized the claim of the people that "Guna" was a closer representation of the name in their mother tongue than "Kuna".
Guiyang is the capital of Guizhou Province, the People's Republic of China. While not the most spectacular of Chinese cities, it has much to offer as an introduction to the history, culture and natural splendor of Guizhou and China's southwest. It makes an excellent base for exploring mountains, caves, rivers, and minority cultures (including traditional Han Chinese culture lost in many areas) of the province. The city is also a large center for retail and wholesale commercial activities with operations of major domestic and international general retailers such as Wal-Mart, Carrefour, RT-Mart, Beijing Hualian, Parkson, and Xingli Group as well as consumer electronics and appliance sellers Gome and Suning.
Bissau is the capital city of Guinea-Bissau. The city's borders are conterminous with the Bissau Autonomous Sector. In 2007, the city had an estimated population of 407,424 according to the Instituto Nacional de Estatística e Censos. The city which is located on the Geba River estuary, off the Atlantic Ocean, is the country's largest city, major port, administrative and military center. The last time an official census was held in the country, in 1991, the city/region had a population of 195,389. Guinea-Bissau is a tropical country on West Africa’s Atlantic coast that’s known for national parks and wildlife. Sandwiched between Senegal and Guinea, this diminutive nation has a decidedly Latin vibe and is one of the few African countries to celebrate Carnival. On the mainland, the capital, Bissau, is a port with Portuguese colonial buildings in its old city center.

Guilin is a prefecture-level city in the northeast of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China, situated on the west bank of the Li River, and bordering Hunan to the north. Its name means, "Forest of Sweet Osmanthus", owing to the large number of fragrant Sweet Osmanthus trees located in the city. With its marvelous limestone scenery, Guilian is renowned as one of the most beautiful places on earth and is one of China's most popular tourist destinations.
Guildford is a large historic town in Surrey in the South East of England. It still has retained much of its historical charm. A short walk up the cobbled high street shows many buildings which are hundreds of years old. The medieval castle was used by the King of England in the 1400s and because of this,Guildford is the only royal town in Surrey.
In modern times the town has retained its importance as a communication hub and market town, and gained a contemporary cathedral, modern university, world-class sports facilities and extensive shopping and commercial developments!
Guelph is a city in Southwestern Ontario, Canada. Known as "The Royal City", Guelph is roughly (17 mi) east of Kitchener-Waterloo and (62 mi) west of downtown Toronto at the intersection of Highway 6 and Highway 7. It is the seat of Wellington County, but as a separated municipality it is not part of the county. Guelph was named after the British Royal Family of King George IV, the monarch at the time of Guelph's founding. Because of its low crime rates, clean environment and generally high standard of living, Guelph is consistently rated as one of the country's most livable cities. Before colonization, the area was considered by the surrounding indigenous communities to be a "neutral" zone. On selected dates members from these communities would meet and trade goods by the Speed River. Guelph was selected as the headquarters of the Canada Company, a British development firm, by its Canadian superintendent John Galt, a popular Scottish novelist who designed the town to attract settlers to it and to the surrounding countryside.
Guayaquil is the largest and the most populous city in Ecuador, with around 2.69 million people in the metropolitan area, as well as the nation's main port. It is one of the main South American ports in the Pacific. The climate is hot for the first semester of the year and breeze cool for the rest of it. A proud city of the tropics where foreigners are well received, music rules and seafood is a must.
In the last decade, the city has undergone positive change. The beautiful riverfront promenade "Malecon 2000", green areas and modern shopping arcades all over the city attracts tourism from inside and outside the country.
Guatemala City, is the capital and largest city of the Republic of Guatemala. It is also the capital city of the local Guatemala Department and the largest city in Central America. Guatemala City is the economic, governmental and cultural capital of the Republic. The city also functions as the main port of entry into the country, with international airport, La Aurora International Airport and most major highways in the country originating or leading to the city. In addition to a wide variety of restaurants, hotels and shops, the city has a wide variety of art galleries, theaters, sports venues and museums it continually offers an increasing amount of cultural activities.
